Some of the clients that I have worked with include:
GE-Infrastructure in Calgary, builds power substations that are distributured across the globe. In 2005, GE's Global Sourcing office mandated that GE Calgary's office was to move their purchasing to Asian vendors using an on-line auction. Using my relationship with the client we were able to get onto the auction list and retained roughly 50% of the nearly 100 line-items. Over the next few years we managed to regain much of the lost business through superiour service and delivery - facilitated by the relationship I maintained with the account's key decision makers.
Allied Vision's Vancouver office, formerly Prosillica Inc., designs and manufactures industrial vision systems - cameras. Their revision cycle is rapid with new designs coming out every few weeks and they required rapid turn-around and high quality. As their account manager I needed to keep track of multiple concurrent revisions of their various products, manage their kanban stock and ensure that they were ordering the correct revision. Due to the relationship I had built with their purchasing, engineering and quality departments, we got first and last look at all of their RFQ's.
The Canadian Airports Procurement Association is a group purchasing body representing most of the major airports in Canada. I created their logo, branding and website and continue to maintain their website for them.
